Travel Post - Day 3

- On my feet for almost 11 hours.

- People like to point out your sunburn.

- Crossed a fairly busy street at the end of the day to film a necessary “cow eating grass” shot.  As soon as I reached the other side of the street, the cow freaked out and ran ~15 meters away.  My intended cow close-up instantly changed to a cow wide-shot. 

- Shot 40 gigs of video, which I think is the same size as our first family computer’s hard drive.

- Left my reflector at the hotel, but a very nice car detailer named Michael helped me make one out of aluminum foil and a plastic bin lid.  Unfortunately, I didn’t even get to use it because we ended up changing interview locations.  Won’t forget the reflector tomorrow. 

- I got to interview a lot of very kind and articulate car enthusiasts. 

- Overall, it was a long, sunny, windy, experiential, day.  I’m just hoping that the footage turns out well.
