1) The girl was a friend.
2) She could have just said it in passing to be nice.
I feel like at least 90% of my life has consisted of me beating myself up over my flaws and shortcomings. And, it’s really sad and plain ridiculous when you think about it because I’m always going to be flawed. It’s a mental battle that I will never win. The only viable solution for overcoming the trap of self pity is to surrender. And, I hate admitting defeat.

Travel Post - Day 3
- On my feet for almost 11 hours.
- People like to point out your sunburn.
- Crossed a fairly busy street at the end of the day to film a necessary “cow eating grass” shot. As soon as I reached the other side of the street, the cow freaked out and ran ~15 meters away. My intended cow close-up instantly changed to a cow wide-shot.
- Shot 40 gigs of video, which I think is the same...
Travel Post - Day 1 and 2
If you don’t know, I’m spending this week in Houston, TX. I’m on a photo/video shoot for Cadillac V-Series Performance Lab.
Here are a few snapshots from my trip thus far, and my personal observations:
- Gas is only $3.50/gal in Texas.
- Video conversion (from Mac to PC) seems to be the bane of my existence. Thankfully, I think I’ve found a simple solution.
- I feel...
